They are obviously a lot of fun, aren’t they? And might even be enough to put a bunny or two on the table. They do ship direct to Australia, but good luck with customs and nanny state spoilsports.

    1. I see what you mean!I do have a couple of posts to that effect: The Pocket Slingshot & DIY Sling. You might also be interested in Small Game & etc. Cheers, Steve.

  1. I’m unsure of the original RS X7 but I bought the RS X7 V2 and It’s an absolute waste of money and essentially a scam. I don’t think it was ever tested, it was very poorly manufactured and had 2 major faults. The limbs all have different angles so after 2 shots at most you’ll have to readjust it because it’s impossible to achieve symmetry. Also the rubber rubs on the ends of the long limbs and breaks from friction after at most 12 shots, the most shots I ever got from it. It’s also heavy, loud and I hope you’re strong to reload it. They sent me new parts but none of them helped and eventually you’ll stop hearing from them because they’ve got your money.
Avoid completely, just buy a good slingshot.

  2. I think the video is partly a fake.
I’m in the shooting club and always in the top three in the competition (100 meters KK). We shoot at a tenth of a millimeter. Evaluated with laser.
To hit a Coke can, I have to target the target very calmly for at least 2 seconds.
There is no wobbling on the barrel. With the Sling Shot the shooter starts, shakes, shoots and hits 75 meters. That’s an absolute joke. This sling shot is a “rubber slipper”. My precision rifle costs € 3000.00. The projectiles fly 340m / sec. The sling shot requires 75 seconds for almost 2 seconds with the bullet. Since the bracket would have min. 20`betragen …
But admittedly, as a “slingshot,” the thing is very good.

    1. Well guess what Mr. Egon…
These things are indeed as accurate as the video depicts, having proved it myself after buying one. I have the v2 model.
He did not get the target first go, as he said, he had a few attempts before proving successful.
The ONE thing different between a rifle and a slingshot is projectile speed.
A slingshot, which has a much lower projectile speed means the projectile is visible on its path to the target, allowing for a quick sight-in.
